HELP / ATTENDANCE / USE THE LOCATION ADMIN PORTAL

Use the location admin portal

Every location you create gets its own small admin portal — a separate sign-in from your dashboard account, meant to be handed to whoever is staffing that location on the day. This covers logging in, reading the table, and manually checking someone out.

6 MIN READ UPDATED 4 AUG 2026 BUNDLE ADMIN PORTAL

BEFORE YOU START

The location needs a Username and Password set on it first — without both, there's nothing to sign in with. See "Set up bundle locations" if you haven't set those yet. Attendance also has to be enabled on the bundle overall.

1

Open the Bundle Admin Login Page link shown next to the location on its bundle's Attendance tab, or go to the bundle's admin URL directly.

2

Enter the location's own Username and Password — not your dashboard login — and choose Sign In.

Once signed in, the session stays scoped to that one location until Sign Out is chosen — it doesn't give access to the bundle's other locations, and it doesn't give access to your dashboard account either. It's a separate, narrower login by design, since it's meant to be handed out freely to whoever is on site.

Read the dashboard

The table lists check-ins at this one location, with a column for each of the following.

Person Details The participant's name and email address.
Status A Checked In or Checked Out badge.
Check-in / Check-out Timestamps for each, shown in the client's own local time.
Fields An info icon that opens a modal listing every check-in field response recorded for that row, if any were configured.

It only lists check-ins from the last 14 days by default. A Show checked-out entries toggle reveals people who have already checked out within that window, and a count badge at the top shows how many are currently checked in against the running total. Click any column header to sort by it — Check-in sorts newest first by default.

Check someone out manually

3

Find the row and choose Check Out, confirming the prompt that follows.

This exists for the case where a participant leaves without checking out themselves — from a phone, a shared tablet, or simply forgetting. It records the checkout at the moment you click it, not backdated to whenever they actually left, so use it as soon as you notice rather than at the end of the day.

GOOD TO KNOW

The two download buttons in the header — Download CSV and Print Checked-in List — both work from this same login, without needing your dashboard account at all. That's covered in "Export the attendance log".

Sign out

Choose Sign Out in the header when you're done — especially on a shared or public device, since anyone with the browser left open afterwards would otherwise see this location's check-in history.

If something isn't working

There's no username or password for a location

Set both on the location record from the bundle's Attendance tab. Only your dashboard account can do that.

Signing in redirects straight back to the login page

Attendance must be enabled on the bundle, and at least one location must exist, for the login page to work at all — otherwise it redirects to the plain bundle page instead.

Check-ins older than two weeks are missing

The dashboard table only shows the last 14 days. Use Download CSV for the full history.

A checked-out row still shows as active

Refresh the page — the checkout button disables itself right after you click it to avoid double-submits, but the table doesn't update live on its own.

What next

Once you're comfortable reading the table, the same portal is where the exports live too.
