HELP / ATTENDANCE / EXPORT THE ATTENDANCE LOG

Export the attendance log

Both exports live inside a location's own admin portal, not your main dashboard. This covers the two formats on offer, what each one contains, and how they handle check-in fields.

5 MIN READ UPDATED 4 AUG 2026 BUNDLE ADMIN PORTAL

BEFORE YOU START

Both downloads are reached from inside a location's own admin portal — sign in there first (see "Use the location admin portal"). There is no single export that pulls every location in a bundle at once.

Download CSV — full history

1

From the location dashboard, choose Download CSV in the header.

The file contains every check-in ever recorded at that location — no 14-day limit, unlike the table you see on screen. Each row lists First Name, Last Name, Email, Check-in, Check-out, then one column for every check-in field that has ever been answered at this location. Checkbox answers are normalised to "Yes" or "No" in the file rather than left as the raw stored 1 or 0.

The filename combines the location's own name with the date it was generated, so a handful of downloads from different days don't overwrite each other in your downloads folder.

2

Choose Print Checked-in List instead.

This opens a separate, printer-friendly page listing only people currently checked in at that location — no checkouts included — with the same check-in field columns, and it triggers the browser's print dialog automatically as soon as it loads. It's built as a physical headcount sheet: a fire warden's list, or a sign-in sheet to reconcile by hand against who's actually in the room.

GOOD TO KNOW

Both exports are scoped to the single location you're signed in as — there's no button that pulls every location in a bundle at once. For a bundle with several locations, sign in to each in turn and export separately.

A COMMON MISTAKE

The CSV's field columns are built from whatever labels have ever been used at that location. Deleting a check-in field entirely, rather than just editing it, means its old answers stop showing up in new exports, since there's no label left to attach them to.

If something isn't working

The Download CSV button looks disabled after I click it

That's deliberate — it fades to stop repeat clicks while the file generates. Refresh the page if the download doesn't complete.

A column I expect is missing from the CSV

Columns only appear for check-in fields that have at least one recorded answer at this location. A field nobody has answered yet, or one that's since been deleted, won't have a column.

The printed list doesn't match the on-screen count

The printed list only ever shows people currently checked in, while the on-screen count badge can include checked-out people too if "Show checked-out entries" is switched on.

What next

A physical tablet or kiosk can shortcut a participant straight to the bundle without them typing anything.
