HELP / PARTICIPANTS / ASSIGN AND REMOVE BUNDLES

Assign and remove bundles

A participant record can belong to several bundles at once. This covers adding another bundle to someone who already exists, removing one they no longer need, and exactly what removal takes with it.

Add a bundle to an existing participant

This is the normal way to enrol someone who is already in your list into a second or third bundle — no new record is created.

1

On the Participants list, find the participant's row — use the search box if the list is long — and choose the Manage bundles icon among the row actions.

2

The Manage Bundles modal opens on Assigned Bundles, loaded fresh from the server each time so it's accurate even when two participants share a name.

3

Under Add to Bundle, pick a bundle from the dropdown — bundles they're already in are left out of the list — and choose Add.

If every bundle at this client is already assigned, the dropdown reads All bundles assigned and there's nothing left to add.

Assigned Bundles lists every bundle this participant is currently enrolled in at this client.

Remove a bundle

There are two places to do this: the same Manage Bundles modal, or the participant's own detail page.

4

In Manage Bundles, choose the small × button next to a bundle under Assigned Bundles. You're asked: "Remove from this bundle? This will also delete their attendance records and bundle certificate for this bundle. Course completions are not affected."

5

Or open the participant's own page and use Remove in the row's Actions column under Bundle Participations, confirming "Remove participant from this bundle?"

Removing a bundle deletes:

ATTENDANCE Every check-in/check-out row tied to this bundle enrolment.
CERTIFICATE The generated bundle certificate file for this participant in this bundle, if one exists.
THE LINK ITSELF The bundle enrolment record. They no longer appear as a member of that bundle anywhere.

Course completions are left alone on purpose — a course completion isn't owned by one bundle. If the same course is shared with another bundle, or was taken through a direct link, removing this bundle shouldn't erase that history.

A COMMON MISTAKE

Treating "remove a bundle" the same as deleting the participant. It only clears one enrolment's attendance and certificate — the participant, their other bundles, and their course completions are untouched. For a full wipe, see Total Delete: what it removes.

If something isn't working

Add to Bundle only shows "All bundles assigned"

There's nowhere left to add — the participant is already in every bundle this client has.

I removed a bundle but their course completions are still showing

That's expected. Completions live at the course level, not the bundle level, and stay for reporting even after the bundle enrolment is gone.

"Participant already assigned to this bundle"

They're already enrolled — check Assigned Bundles in the Manage Bundles modal before adding again.

What next

Once a bundle is assigned, the courses inside it are what the participant actually sees — worth checking the bundle side too.
