HELP / CLIENTS / PUBLISH A CLIENT PRIVACY POLICY

Publish a client privacy policy

A privacy policy is an optional page of text tied to one client. When it is set, every participant registering for that client's courses or bundles must accept it first. This walks through writing, saving and previewing one.

4 MIN READ UPDATED 4 AUG 2026 DASHBOARD → CLIENTS → EDIT → PRIVACY POLICY

BEFORE YOU START

A privacy policy belongs to a client, not to an individual course or bundle, so it applies everywhere that client's courses are registered for. If the client shouldn't require acceptance yet, leave the field empty — there is no separate on/off switch, an empty policy simply means nothing is asked of participants.

Write the policy

The Privacy Policy tab holds a rich text editor with headings, lists, links and basic formatting — the same kind of editor used elsewhere for written content.

1

Open Clients, choose Edit on the client, then open the Privacy Policy tab.

2

Write the policy text in the editor. Use headings and lists to keep it scannable — this is what a participant reads on their phone right before registering, not a document they're expected to study.

3

Choose Save Privacy Policy.

Preview and confirm it's live

Once a policy is saved, the tab shows a note confirming it is set and requires acceptance, plus a Preview link. Preview opens the policy exactly as a participant would see it — the same standalone page, in a new tab — so you can check formatting and length before anyone registers against it.

GOOD TO KNOW

Participants must tick the acceptance checkbox during registration for both single courses and bundles belonging to this client. Registration is blocked with an error until they do — there is no way to skip it once a policy is set.

Remove or replace a policy

To stop requiring acceptance, clear all the text out of the editor and choose Save Privacy Policy again — an empty policy removes the requirement. To change the wording, edit the text in place and save; the new version applies to every registration from that point on.

If something isn't working

A participant says they can't get past registration

They likely haven't ticked the privacy policy acceptance checkbox. The form blocks submission with "You must accept the privacy policy to continue" (courses) or "…to register" (bundles) until it's checked.

The Preview link is missing

Preview only appears once a policy has been saved. Write something and save it first.

The public policy page says no privacy policy was found

The policy field is currently empty for this client. Add text on the Privacy Policy tab and save.

What next

A policy only matters once participants are actually registering. If this client doesn't have anything to register for yet, set that up next.
