Review your SMS history

SMS History shows how many text messages your account has sent each month, set against a quota. It only appears once SMS Login is switched on for your account.

4 MIN READ UPDATED 4 AUG 2026 DASHBOARD → MY PROFILE → SMS HISTORY

BEFORE YOU START

SMS History only shows up in the sidebar once SMS Login is enabled for your account. That's a feature switched on by HSE support, not something you turn on yourself — if you don't see it, ask support to enable it.

Why SMS Login matters here

SMS Login is one of the features listed in Your Features on the Overview page, alongside Attendance, Other Courses and Additional Clients. When it's on, the Overview page also shows SMS sent this month against your monthly limit, with a bar that fills up as you approach it.

Reading the history table

The table lists one row per calendar month, most recent activity included.

MONTH The calendar month the row covers.
SENT How many text messages went out that month.
FAILED ATTEMPTS Messages that didn't go through. Shown in a different color from Sent whenever the count for that month is above zero.

If your account hasn't sent any SMS yet, the page shows "No SMS have been sent from this account yet" instead of a table.

Understanding your monthly limit

Above the table, Current monthly limit shows the cap your account is currently working against. That number is set by an HSE superadmin, not by you — there's no field on this page, or anywhere else in My Profile, to change it yourself.

GOOD TO KNOW

If no limit has been set for your account yet, the page tells you directly: "No monthly SMS quota has been set for your account yet — contact support to enable sending." That's expected for an account SMS Login was only just switched on for; it isn't a fault.

A COMMON MISTAKE

Assuming a high Failed attempts count means something is broken on your end. It only means messages didn't go through — contact support with the month in question if the number looks unexpectedly high.

If something isn't working

I don't see SMS History in the sidebar

SMS Login isn't enabled for your account. Contact support to have it switched on.

The current monthly limit shows as not set

That's the "No monthly SMS quota has been set for your account yet" message — a superadmin hasn't assigned one. Contact support to have a limit set.

Sent is 0 for every month

Either the account hasn't sent any SMS yet, or SMS Login was only switched on recently. TODO: confirm — whether history rows exist for months before the feature was enabled.

Failed attempts keeps climbing

Contact support with the month and, if you have it, the phone number involved — the table shows the count but not the underlying reason.

What next

SMS usage sits close to billing for accounts where it's metered against a plan.
